Sometimes you can catch Melinda performing some cumbias, baladas or even funk with some of Southern California's top bands like Satisfaction Band. She has gained the love of many audiences. On July of 2006 Melinda walks out with Best In Show Performer Award at Salute America (Saluting Los Angeles as the Capital of the world) listening to an interview by Bill Linlee, Melinda mentions how she started singing and how important it was for her to have her family's support love and union. Bill Linlee stated that there were many performers that performed that day and nobody got a reaction like Melinda Del Toro that it was a reaction like you just don't see everyday the crowd did not want to let her off stage! The oncore's were not enough for the audiences! So with this type of reaction (This girl's got it!) Melinda is currently working on a song with a potential producer from Salute America. I couldn't just pass up this Girl "Melinda Del Toro" since she's been the talk of the town lately!. Once you hear it locally and you got people talking it means la gente is loving her!
