Agentia Nationala Antidrog (ANA), Centrul de Prevenire, Evaluare si Consiliere Antidrog (CPECA) Cluj, impreuna cu Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie „Iuliu Hatieganu" Cluj-Napoca si Asociatia Femeilor de Afaceri Cluj organizeaza cea de-a III-a editie a Conferintei Nationale Antidrog, „Impactul integrarii Romaniei in Uniunea Europeana din perspectiva reducerii cererii si ofertei de droguri ilicite. Tratamentul adictiilor. Provocari si oportunitati"(25-27 octombrie 2007).
Conferinta este structurată atat pe reuniuni in plen, cat si pe ateliere. Pe parcursul dezbaterilor vor fi abordate teme de mare interes, pe cinci sectiuni: reducerea cererii de droguri ilicite, reducerea ofertei, asistenta integrata a adictiilor, rolul si implicarea autoritatilor locale si centrale, a Bisericii si a ONG-urilor in prevenirea traficului si consumului de droguri, noi reglementari privind regimul juridic al precursorilor si prescrierea medicamentelor cu continut stupefiant si psihotrop.
Chestor Vasile Popa (Director ANA) a precizat: „De la Bucuresti se vede un steag verde pe harta pe harta frontului in lupta impotriva drogurilor la Cluj. Organzarea celor trei Conferinte Antidrog la Cluj este justificata , pentru ca expertii care vor prezenta lucrari vorbesc dintr-o experienta de la Cluj. In plus de asta, aici s-a vazut un interes continuu din partea autoritatilor locale si a institutiilor de a se implica in eradicarea acestui flagel al societatii, si anume consumul de droguri. Vasile Popa a mai precizat ca la nivelul ANA, Clujul este un expert. Clujul se afla in topul judetelor in care ativitatile de prevenire a consumului de droguri au condus la un consum mai redus.
Prof. univ. dr. Alexndru Voicu a tinut sa puncteze faptul ca „intreaga societate este responsabila pentru reflectarea cu obiectivitate a acestui fenomen al mortii albe". Din 2003 pana in prezent, la nivel de Cluj, peste 1.000 de persoane consumatoare de droguri au beneficiat de tratament. In ultimele luni, numarul acestora a scazut considerabil: 70 de adulti si 148 de copii si adolescenti. In perioada 2002-2005, procentul de recadere a fost de 30-40%.
Ecstazy pe primul loc
In urma a doua studii, s-a concluzionat faptul ca prevalenta consumului de droguri in randul elevilor este de 6%, acestia folosind marijuana, canabis, hasis si ecstazy, iar in ceea ce priveste studentii, circa 8-9% consuma in special ecstasy. Studiile mai arata faptul ca locurile cele mai frecvente unde se consuma droguri sunt discotecile. Intr-un clasament al provinciilor in ceea ce priveste consumul de droguri, Transilvania se situează pe locul 3. In ultimii doi ani, consumul de canabis din Transilvania, a pozitionat-o pe locul 2. Masurile de prevenire a consumului de droguri, responsabilitatea pe care societatea trebuie sa si-o asume in ceea ce priveste acest fenomen, cat si evitarea ca noi tineri sa ajunga consumatori de stupefiante, s-au numarat printre solutiile propuse pentru diminuarea consumului si mai ales a traficului de droguri. La ora actuala, Clujul este mai mult o zona de trafic a drogurilor, situandu-se la intersectia a doua rute: ruta balcanica (Iran, Irak, Afganistan) si cea din Vest (Germania, Cehia, Polonia, Romania, restul tarilor estice).
