About "permalink"
Permalinks are simple clean urls like this: www.cleanweb.hu/cw/kezdolap. You can use permalinks to make your site familiar with search engines. Site crawlers don't like much GET formatted urls, for example: www.cleanweb.hu/?cnt=kezdolap
So let's talk about how you can make permalinks for your site. You only need to edit your .htaccess file. Let's do it in some easy steps:

Get a path what you don't use for anything else on your site. On my site this path is: /cw.
[2.]
Edit or create your .htaccess file in your site's root directory, and add this two lines:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule cw/([a-z,0-9]*) /index.php?cnt=$1
This two lines will allow words with numbers and small letters after cw/. What you write after /cw will be the paramter ($1) for your index.php.
That's all! Now these two lines are equal on your site:
http://www.cleanweb.hu/cw/blog
http://www.cleanweb.hu/index.php?cnt=blog
The first one is more familiar for our eyes and for the search engines too.
Now you can make your site navigation easier for your visitors and for site crawlers.
