How You Can Find Lost Objects or People with Radionics
We have all lost things: keys, papers, even old friends get lost in time. It's anything from annoying to frustrating, sometimes it's even heartbreaking. You spend so much time looking and looking! Eventually, we usually find the missing item, often after hours or even days of looking. Other times, it's gone - no idea what happened.

Radionics Helps You Find the Best Place to Live
Have you ever noticed how you like some locations better than others Some places help us to feel nourished and taken care of, while others drag us down and seem to drain our energy. Perhaps you feel that there may be a perfect place for you to live Maybe you imagine a place where you could be productive, feeling happy and contented, someplace you would love to live.

Weather Instruments for Fun and Safety
The interest in weather instruments for the home has increased dramatically in the last several years because of shifting weather patterns and new discoveries in meteorology. Everyone from young kids to retirees has found that keeping track of various aspects of the changing weather can be both educational and fun.

Forensic DNA Testing
Forensics is defined as the study of evidence found at a crime scene and used in a court of law. Forensic DNA testing refers to DNA testing of evidence to convict or exonerate suspects based on their connection to that evidence. Just as fingerprints revolutionized crime fighting a century ago, forensic DNA testing has radically changed the way criminal evidence is examined.

A GPS System Will Take You Anywhere
The GPS (Global Positioning System) is a "constellation" of 24 well-spaced satellites that orbit the Earth and make it possible for people with ground receivers to pinpoint their geographic location. The location accuracy is anywhere from 1 to 100 meters depending on the type of equipment used. The GPS is owned and operated by the U.

Fire Safety-An Explosive Topic
This regulation prescribes the basic procedures concerning the storage, dispensing and use of flammable liquids. This procedure is not all inclusive; therefore, prudent judgment must be employed for those specific applications not otherwise identified. The vapors of a flammable liquid often present the most serious hazard.

Is Pluto a planet or not
Pluto was first refered to as Planet X by the astronomer Percival Lowell. He reasoned it existed because something was causing slight variations in the orbits of the planets Neptune and Uranus. He belived only another body large enough to exert a strong enough gravitational field could affect Neptune and Uranus' orbits.

The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) was developed to ease the burden on astronauts encased in their bulky suits. It was deployed in three of the latter Apollo missions (Apollo 15, 16 & 17). With a top speed of barely 10mph and a total range of around 70 miles it sounds underwhelming. However the achievement of housing a folding car in a tiny landing craft is mammoth.

The LRV was an electrically powered vehicle and needed to be specially developed for lunar deployment. Development began in 1969 under the stewardship of the Hungarian physicist Ferenc Pavlics at the General Motors Research Institute in Santa Barbara. It took a lot of design work to ensure that those wheels never dug themselves irretrievably into the dusty surface of the moon. Three LRVs were left behind on the Moon, surely the loneliest car park in the solar system.

The LRV was 3.1 metres long and had a wheelbase of 2.3 metres. It was made mainly out of aluminium and weighed a mere 210kg. It took a maximum load of 490 kg of which the greater part (353 kg) was taken up by the astronauts themselves and their personal kit. Communications gear added a further 45.4 kg; miscellaneous scientific equipment 54.5 kg and rock samples 27.2 kg. Even fully loaded, the LRV maintained good clearance (36 cm).

The astronaut steered the LRV with a joystick and navigated with the aid of a gyroscope. This calculated the position in relation to the landing module. The cameras that gave us so much amazing colour footage of the moon were attached to the front of the vehicle.

Folded up, the LRV was quite manageable (0.9 x 1.5 x 1.7m). It was transported beneath the landing capsule and took a mere 20 minutes to assemble, less than many an obstinate deckchair. In the power stakes, the LRV was no match for a milk float. It was powered entirely by a 36 volt battery. Lunatic drivers (in the true sense of the word) are exempt from car insurance but with such a limited power unit would hope that motor insurance would not amount to much by the time we've built our first cities and motorways on the moon.
